Ashish was previously a Professor of Medicine at the College of Medical Sciences at the University of Delhi in India. He completed his Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health under a Fulbright Fellowship. He is a passionate teacher, humble researcher, a conscientious doctor with an ability to create and maintain networks at a regional and an international level. His areas of interest include medical ethics, doctor-patient relationships, medical education, applications of technology in health, geriatric care and frailty. He loves to cook, travel, teach and write.

Presently working as senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Geriatric Medicine, Madras Medical college.
Besides practicing as Geriatrician for more than 2 decades, also has working experience in intensive care and Toxicology.
Involved in various teaching programs conducted at state and national level in Geriatric medicine and Toxicology. Contributed for the teaching manuals in Toxicology as well as Geriatric medicine.
Interested in improving the teaching methodology for the students, Acute care of elderly and behavioral problems in elderly.
